Make herbal soap while listening to a wandering minstral... enjoy ice cold juice while watching a storyteller... sit back and take in a short Shakespeare performance while having a scrumptious lunch.
Come one, come all to celebrate the Feast of St. Michael (Michelmas), the autumnal equinox when we give thanks for our bountiful harvest. Proceeds from our wondrous faire will go to the Sebastopol Union schools to support our local lasses and lads in so many ways such as music, art, and sports funding.
On this day, Queen Elizabeth will go hunting with her courtiers, and her Master of Horse has arranged a surprise for her. He will lead her back to his manor by way of our festival! Here she will meet us, her humble subjects. We look forward to entertaining her in our admittedly rustic but heart-felt fashion.
We ask one and all to dress in a manner suitable for the presence of a queen. She will be delighted to see her subjects dressed in their finest Renaissance garb, and she is also thrilled by the presence of time travellers of any era. However, she is a stickler for decorum. We, therefore, ask humbly that your ensemble be suitably demure.
